Garrett Deese is a technology program management professional and military veteran with a primary focus on agile systems and teams. He currently manages a team of technical program managers within the Dropbox IT org as well as co-leads the Dropbox veteran employee resource group.

Garrett served 7 years working on nuclear and conventional weapons systems on the B-52 and F-16 airframes, as well as managed deployment readiness and health tracking programs. Ascending to the rank of non-commissioned officer, Garrett separated and transitioned into a career in technology.

As one of Vetsintech's first interns, Garrett helped drive Vetsintech's national presence, supporting marketing programming and mentorship around veteran skills translation and readiness. He is excited to continue to support his fellow veterans as they join the global civilian technology ecosystem, especially those specifically interested in technical projects and program management.
