I strive to be a connector, an organizer, an influencer -- to bring together industry and nonprofit, education and opportunity, vision and strategy, advancement and diversity, workplace and inclusion, corporate priorities and social impact.

During my military career in Public Affairs, I developed a passion for engaging communities and cultivating collaborations. I saw firsthand how a partnership between a government entity, civic organization, and corporation amplifies the support provided to communities and employees. I helped create opportunities for Airmen to tell their story to taxpayers, for military installations to say thanks to neighboring populations, and for services to reach diverse and marginalized people.

I love making connections that turn into opportunities. As a corporate social responsibility manager with IBM, I have the privilege of cultivating partnerships that connect education and skills initiatives to marginalized and underserved populations in a six-state region. I facilitate IBM Pathways to Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) programs as well as the Skillsbuild and Open P-TECH learning platforms. In serving communities like Austin, Dallas, Houston and Baton Rouge, I'm particularly gratified by partnerships I've nurtured with community colleges, school districts, workforce boards, and chambers of commerce.
