As a security 'veteran' and executive leader, what I bring to the table is 18+ of diverse experience encompassing national security (federal intelligence agencies), strategic analytics, program management, and security and IT practice management. I'm a customer-obsessed team leader, an entrepreneur, a trusted executive advisor, and an industry thought leader. And while I have repeatedly proven myself in various high-stakes environments and demonstrated my ability to lead high-impact transformations and manage a successful security consulting firm, what I believe distinguishes me is my commitment to fostering greater inclusion of underrepresented populations within the cybersecurity industry. To that end, I founded Latinas in Cybersecurity (LAIC), a fiscally sponsored non-profit with a mission to improve the representation of Latinas in within the cybersecurity industry. I am also an active advocate for veterans and neurodiversity in the workspace, as well as a member of cyber and defense women groups. My mission here is connection.
