Linda Dorsey is a Director of Cyber Security Engineering, Privacy Operations, and Resiliency Services team in the Technology Share Services (TSS) Cyber division at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics Corporation. GDIT is a $8.5B global technology enterprise with operations in 30 countries worldwide and nearly 30,000 technologists and services professionals delivering critical mission capabilities across defense, civilian and intelligence agencies. Linda is also the Privacy & Security Officer (PS for the GDIT North Carolina Medicaid Management Information System (NCMMIS) contract.

Prior to joining GDIT, Linda served 23 years in the United States Amy both active and reserve in 2007. She retired as a First Sergeant. Linda was also deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring freedom where she was awarded The Bronze Star Medal for her exceptional meritorious service during her deployment.

Linda holds a Master of Business Administration, Sports Business, and a Master's and Bachelor of Science, in Information Technology Management (Cum Laude), Linda holds the following credentials: Harvard Business School Online Organizational Leadership certificate, Cornell University Executive Leadership certificate, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and the Certified Data Privacy Solution Engineer (CDSPE) certification. Linda was awarded the (BEYA) Black Engineer of the Year 2023 Linda Gooden Legacy Award, the 2013 National Association of Professional Women (NAWP) Woman of the Year, and the 2008 National Women of Color Technology All Star award (STEM).

In her free time, Linda dedicates time to help others to grow and be their best self. She is active in supporting GDIT's BEN (Black Employee Network) Employee Resource Group. She also dedicates time supporting GDIT community activities in support of Cyber.org. For over 15 years, Linda has inspired youth as a basketball coach at Archbishop Spalding High School.
