Alicia is fortunate enough to have worked with both private and public companies such as LG, Walt Disney, the Department of Defense, the NFL, and most proudly the US Army. After her six year service in the US Army Alicia returned to civilian life to lead the way for veterans to become startup founders. Her perseverance through her military training, as well as overcoming a major loss in her life has helped her to be a successful adviser today for fast-paced startups & international athletes, and celebrities.

Alicia believes that it is possible to change the world a little, to a lot each day. She demonstrates this through her commitment to empowering underestimated entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams, inspiring people to be their best, and building thriving, sustainable ecosystems for the communities she serves.

Dear Mama Ventures is a $50M early stage venture fund, located in Los Angeles. Our mission is to improve access to the tech, and capital ecosystem for BIPOC, Women, and Military Veteran entrepreneurs. While our fund is industry agnostic, it emphasizes investing in diverse founders who are solving some of the world's most pressing issues in climate and clean energy, food and agriculture, healthcare, and education. Additionally since many of our partners and investors are professional athletes our ecosystem supports the investment into sports, media, gaming and the metaverse.
